The headrest is manually adjustable in four directions, both tilting and telescoping, so you dial in neck support independently from the recline angle. The power version costs roughly $800 more than the manual at the same arm style, and that gap pays for something specific: the ability to stop at any point in the recline arc, and to not need to push against the mechanism to return.
