The Sloped Recliner has beveled arms that taper downward, a 41-inch back, and a 32-inch overall width that fits a living room without dominating it. The silhouette works alongside contemporary and transitional furniture. This is the power version.

Reclining is button-operated. An integrated battery lives inside the frame and runs the mechanism; Luonto rates it for up to three months on a single charge. Press the button and the chair moves smoothly to your chosen angle. No handle to find, no push-back required to return. The headrest is manually adjustable in four directions, both tilting and telescoping, so you dial in neck support independently from the recline angle. The power version costs roughly $800 more than the manual at the same arm style, and that gap pays for something specific: the ability to stop at any point in the recline arc, and to not need to push against the mechanism to return. If you have shoulder or lower-back limitation, or if you simply spend several hours a day in this chair, that precision matters.

The seat is 20.75 inches wide and 19 inches deep, at 19 inches off the floor. CertiPUR-certified medium-density high-resilience cold-cured foam: supportive without being hard, rated for sustained sitting. Reclined, the chair extends to 40.25 inches in height at the headrest tip, and needs 63 inches of clearance from wall to footrest. The fixed back means you never remove a cushion to recline.

Solid spruce frame with mortise-and-tenon joinery and birch plywood panels, FSC-certified. Made in the EU, made to order, four to six weeks. Choose from 100+ fabrics and 100+ leathers at point of sale; all covers are fixed.

Choose the Sloped Power if you want motor-assisted recline and the ability to stop at an intermediate angle. Choose the Sloped Manual if the handle mechanism works for your mobility and you'd rather save the difference. Within the arm-style comparison: the Sloped arm is the mid-profile option, sitting between the softer Rolled arm and the lower, narrower Track arm.
