At 35.5 inches tall and 18 inches of seat height, it sits slightly more upright than a lot of sleeper sofas, closer to a proper lounge chair height than a sink-in sectional. The silhouette is clean; nothing about it reads as a sleeper until you need it to.
The Level mechanism opens in one step with gas-spring assist. Set the loose back cushions aside (it's light handling) and the seat lifts as the bed extends out from the wall.
