Monika's sloped angled arms stay consistent from the smallest cot up through this full-XL configuration; the 65-inch sofa frame is the middle child of the family, fitting into a room that's too small for a queen but too large to justify a single-seat cot.
The Nest mechanism works the same way here as it does across the Monika line. Set the loose back cushions aside, lift the front of the seat, walk it forward, and the back drops flat. Two steps, manual operation, no power. The full-XL does not have the half-open option that the queen and king sizes carry, so when the bed is out, the back is flat. Plan for 84.75 inches of wall clearance.
The bed is 55 by 80 inches, technically a Full XL (standard full is 54 inches, but this runs at 55 inches of usable width across the full 80-inch length). A single adult gets comfortable sleeping room. Two adults can share it, but it's snug; if you're planning for two, the queen is the better call. Mattress is a built-in 5-inch cold-cured foam pad, CertiPUR certified, rated Daily Sleeper.
Solid spruce frame with mortise-and-tenon joinery and birch plywood, FSC and PEFC certified. Made in the EU to order, four to six weeks out. Over a hundred fabric and leather options at point of sale.
If the guest room is used by one person at a time and you want more width than a cot without jumping all the way to queen, this is the right size. The Monika Queen adds 5 inches of bed width and 5 inches of sofa width for a full-size 60-inch queen sleeping surface. The Erika Full XL is worth a cross-shop if you want the same bed size in a different arm profile.
