Elfin King Sofa Luonto's narrow king sleeper in sofa configuration, at 80 inches wide with a contemporary low-arm profile and chrome or walnut leg options. The same spatial argument applies as with the larger Elfin range: this is a king bed inside a frame that would fit where most king sleepers won't. The silhouette doesn't announce itself as a sleeper.
The mechanism is Nest: two steps to a king bed. Set the loose back cushions aside, lift the front of the seat, walk the frame out, and lay the back flat. No tools, no removing the seat cushion. Manual. The bed opens out from the wall, and you'll need 84.75 inches of clearance behind the sofa when it's fully extended. The seat height is 17.75 inches, standard lounge height.
The bed is 76 inches wide by 80 inches long, a true American king. The 5-inch built-in mattress is CertiPUR cold-cured high-density foam, and the unit carries a Daily Sleeper rating, engineered for regular nightly use, not occasional backup duty. The seat depth is 21.75 inches, which is on the compact side for a sofa, consistent with the overall efficiency of the Elfin frame design.
Frame is solid spruce with mortise-and-tenon joinery and birch plywood, FSC-certified, made in the EU. Lead time is four to six weeks from order. Upholstery selection covers over 100 fabric and leather options through your dealer.
Elfin King Sofa is the call when you need a king sleeper that fits in 80 inches of sofa width. Cross-shop it against Cove King, which delivers the same 76-by-80 king bed but at 94.5 inches wide, with more sofa presence and a one-step Hybrid Deluxe conversion. Choose Elfin if width is the real constraint; choose Cove if you want the pillow-top seat and wider stance.
