At 86.5 inches wide, the Fantasy King is the largest configuration in the Fantasy lineup. It reads as a three-seat sofa: track arms, tight upholstery, 35 inches tall, with the Level function's single-motion mechanism folded inside. The king bed that comes out is 76 by 80 inches: a genuine king, built for two adults who want the space to sleep rather than the space to compromise.
The Level function is Fantasy's mechanism across every size. Pull the bed out and it moves in one guided motion: assisted open, soft close. There's no two-step sequence, no separate cushion removal partway through the conversion. The mechanism holds the bed's weight on the way down and on the way back up. Manual, not powered. You'll need 89.75 inches of floor clearance from the wall when the bed is fully open. On a sofa this wide, that's the math to do before you order.
The king bed is 76 inches wide by 80 inches long, the same as a standard king mattress. The mattress is CertiPUR-EU certified cold-cured high-resilience foam. Seat foam is medium density at 2.2 pounds per cubic foot, tight-upholstered to the frame. Back cushions are fiber-filled and loose, containing 75 percent recycled fiber. For a sofa that a household will sit on daily and convert to a guest bed periodically, medium foam holds up better over time than softer alternatives.
Frame: FSC-certified birch plywood and PEFC solid Nordic spruce. Designed in Finland, made in Europe to order. Over a hundred upholstery options: fabric grades A through E, leathers from 1000 through Prescott. Four to six weeks lead time.
The direct alternative is the Ethos King Sofa: same 76-by-80 king bed, 82-inch sofa width (4.5 inches tighter), and the Nest function's dual-motion conversion in place of Level's single-step. Choose Fantasy if you want the single-motion open and can accommodate the wider frame.
