Elfin is Luonto's narrowest queen sleeper: 63.75 inches wide on the outside, 60-inch queen bed underneath. The silhouette is the same clean contemporary line as the rest of the Elfin family: low arms, chrome or walnut leg choices, a profile that fits into a smaller room without making the space feel like it's been taken over by a piece of furniture. This is a two-seat loveseat that converts, not a three-seat sofa.
The mechanism is Nest: you lift the front of the seat, walk it out, and lay the back flat in two steps. Set the loose back cushions aside first; everything else is hands-on and manual, no power assist. The Nest also holds a half-open position where you can sit upright on one end while someone lies flat, worth knowing if the piece is going into a studio apartment where the sofa and bed share a room.
The bed is a queen: 60 inches wide by 80 inches long. The mattress is built in, 5 inches of CertiPUR cold-cured high-density foam, rated for daily sleeping. Depth from wall when open is 84.75 inches; plan roughly 7 feet of clearance behind the loveseat. Seat height is 17.75 inches and seat depth is 21.75, which gives a moderately supportive sit for everyday use.
The frame is solid spruce with mortise-and-tenon joinery and birch plywood, FSC and PEFC certified, EU-made. Four to six week lead time from order. Over 100 fabric and leather options available through your dealer.
Elfin Queen is the call when you want a queen bed in a room that won't hold a 68-plus-inch sofa; the 63.75-inch width is rare at this bed size. If you need a king bed instead, step up to the Elfin King, which adds 16 inches of sofa width and a 76-inch bed. Choose queen if the room is tight and two adults is enough; choose king if the bed size matters more than the sofa footprint.
