Aura is built for the room where the welted arm matters as much as the bed underneath. At 70.5 inches wide with a 26.5-inch arm height, it sits a bit taller and more formal than the low-leg Aspen, the kind of frame that works in a traditional living room without looking like it's trying. The site describes it as a design that "caters to all people," and the proportions back that up: generous seating, approachable scale, queen bed inside.
The Nest function converts it: set the loose back cushions aside, lift the front of the seat forward, and walk the seat out until the back lies flat. Two steps, manual. The bed opens out from the wall: plan for 84.75 inches of clearance from wall to the foot of the mattress when extended. There's a half-open option for sitting and sleeping at the same time, which is handy when a partner is still in bed and someone wants to sit up.
The queen bed is 60 by 80 inches. The mattress is a five-inch cold-cured high-density foam pad, CertiPUR certified, rated daily sleeper. Seat height is 18 inches (slightly higher than Aspen) and seat depth runs to 22 inches, which is comfortable for lounging without feeling like it swallows you. The seat foam is on the softer side, consistent with the welcoming character of the frame.
Solid spruce, mortise-and-tenon joinery, birch plywood, FSC and PEFC certified. Made in the EU, made to order, four to six weeks. More than 100 upholstery choices across performance fabric and leather.
Aura queen suits a room that wants a classic silhouette with a real queen bed. Choose Aura if the taller welted arm and traditional proportions fit the space; choose Aspen Queen if you want a lower, more contemporary line with the same Nest mechanism and queen dimensions.
